- Our 2012 awards include a new cash prize of $2,000 (more details coming soon)
- TUFF 2012 will include a special screening of LomoKino films, thanks to our new partnership with Lomography Canada.

Named one of MovieMaker Magazine’s “20 Coolest Film Festivals” (2010), TUFF is an 11-day long celebration of the art of the urban silent screen. TUFF films screen at 10 minute intervals on the Pattison Onestop network of 300 digital platform screens throughout the Toronto subway system and continuously at special “Film Zones” at key downtown stations.
Guest judge for the 6th annual Toronto Urban Film Festival is acclaimed documentary filmmaker Jennifer Baichwal (“Payback”, “Manufactured Landscapes”)
Silent one-minute films can be submitted online through the TUFF Website or by mail. A $20 (CDN) fee applies. Final submission deadline: July 15th, 2012.
